The 2024 homecoming weekend set a new record with its longest alligator crawl yet, as alumni and locals stretched out in an unforgettable show of spirit and teamwork.

TROY RICHARDSON - A heartfelt tribute to the memories of Cainhoy High School, this wall honors the alumni who have passed and celebrates the legacy of graduating classes before the school transitioned to an elementary school in 1996.

The 4th annual Cainhoy Alumni Homecoming 2024 weekend brought together generations of former students from the Class of 1956 onward, for a celebration filled with nostalgia and camaraderie.

Since Cainhoy High School closed in 1996 and transitioned into an elementary school, alumni and the wider Cainhoy community have gathered each year to celebrate their shared history.

This year’s festivities included a homecoming parade, basketball game, the crowning of the 2024 king and queen, an alligator crawl, and the highly anticipated tailgate, a tradition cherished by all Cainhoy Tigers.
