Daniel Island's first art gallery opens quiety but colorfully
In the space beside Honeycomb Cafe at 162 Seven Farms Café (previously occupied by Peace, Love, Hip Hop), an art gallery, simply named Daniel Island Art, opened doors to the public on an unseasonably warm first day of February. Currently featuring the varied works of eight area artists, the gallery is unfussy, open, and accessible. Lovingly curated and arranged photography, painting, and sculpture lives in charming harmony here, and plans to add more local talent and artist-led classes are underway. Daniel Island Art is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit www.danielislandart.com.
