G’day, mate! DIS students celebrate Australia by showcasing the continent’s flag, common Aussie phrases, and other iconic symbols from Down Under.

Hundreds of Daniel Island School students and their families traveled to a representation of all seven continents at the school’s recent Multicultural Night, exploring holidays and traditions from around the world.

With passports in hand, students collected stamps as they visited booths representing various countries, thoughtfully organized by volunteers and school staff.

Sponsored by the School Improvement Council and the Daniel Island School PTA, the event offered a lively celebration of diverse cultures through food, games, arts, crafts, and traditions from around the world.
