Kids and the SC Aquarium reel in the catch at the 13th Annual Danziger Cup

One hundred forty-five kids aged 4-15 and their families lined the banks of Smythe Lake on Saturday, June 15, to cast their lines and compete in the 13th Annual Danziger Cup Kids Fishing Tournament.
The Grand Champion Award, given to the angler who caught the longest eligible fish species overall, regardless of age, was snagged by Rhett Kislinger. His 19.5” largmouth bass earned him a half-day fishing trip for two with Capt. Greg Peralta.
