Early voting starts for 2026 SC Primaries
Early voting for the 2026 South Carolina Primary Election begins Tuesday, May 26 to Friday, June 5. Registered Berkeley County voters can cast their ballots anytime from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday at any of the following locations:
- American Legion Hut: 180 Ravenell Drive, St. Stephen, SC 29479
- Berkeley County Voter Registration & Elections Office: 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461
- Daniel Island Library: 2301 Daniel Island Drive, Daniel Island, SC 29492
- Goose Creek Library: 325 Old Moncks Corner Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445
- Hanahan Library: 1216 Old Murray Court, Hanahan, SC 29410
- Sangaree Library: 595 Sangaree Parkway, Summerville, SC 29486
Only registered Berkeley County voters with a valid photo ID are eligible to vote. Curbside voting will be available at each location for people 65 and older or anyone who is unable to access the polling place or stand in line due to a disability.
In South Carolina, voters do not register by political party and may vote in either primary election, but not both.

Voting at County Registration and Elections Office: To accommodate increased visitor traffic at the County Administration Building, the parking lot will operate with one designated entrance and one designated exit. All voters must enter the building using the Voter Registration & Elections Office entrance on the left. Curbside voters will be rerouted through the DMV parking area.
