On your mark, get set...read!
School is out, the weather is warming up and it is time for summer reading at the library! This year’s program is all new, interactive and online. Summer reading is for all ages and the library wants to make it easy for the whole family to participate, even grandma and grandpa. Readers of any age can earn achievement badges, play games and view their scorecard all online with a new easy to use website.
Register today at berkeleylibrarysc.gov/summer-reading or stop by the library for assistance. The program runs from June 6 to July 30. Visit your account often to enter what you have read so that you may qualify for weekly prizes and our end of summer “Grand Prize”.
The library will also have some special and fun events during the summer for all ages. The theme for this year’s summer reading is geared around health, fitness and sports. For adults we have programs and activities that will “Exercise Your Mind”, teens will “Get in the Game” and children will “Get set… Read”.
