Match Made in Charleston: Your love doubles Impact for safe, affordable homes

This Valentine’s season, Charleston Habitat for Humanity invites community members, local businesses, and supporters throughout the Lowcountry to take part in a special fundraising initiative: “Match Made in Charleston.”

Through Valentine’s Day, every donation to Charleston Habitat for Humanity will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $20,000, doubling the impact of every gift and helping more local families move into safe, stable, affordable homes.

“We know that everyone deserves a decent place to live,” said Kristen Jewell, director of development at Charleston Habitat for Humanity. “With this matching gift opportunity, our community has a chance to make twice the difference – turning generosity into homes, stability, and lasting community strength.”

“Match Made in Charleston” offers donors the chance to see their contributions stretched farther:

● A $50 donation becomes $100,

● A $250 donation becomes $500,

● A $1,000 donation becomes $2,000.

And every dollar donated helps unlock more affordable homes for families throughout the Charleston region.

Donors can give online at the Charleston Habitat for Humanity or by mail (checks payable to Charleston Habitat for Humanity). Gifts received in the month of February will be matched until

the full $20,000 matching pool is reached.
