Look Who’s Here: 880 Island Park Drive
Rising four stories above the heart of the island, 880 Island Park Drive – better known as Daniel Island Square – has become one of the community’s most recognizable commercial buildings since opening in 2017. The 45,676-square-foot mixed-use development combines good eats with healthcare and professional services, making it a popular destination for both work and play.
New Realm Brewing Co. combines an on-site brewery, distillery, restaurant, and event venue, making it one of the island’s busiest gathering spots. From dozens of beers on tap, house-made spirits, wood-fired pizzas, burgers, and wings, guests can chow down while also enjoying a lineup of live music, comedy shows, concert pre-parties, and other community events every night of the week.
“We craft beer in many styles, from hazy IPAs to classic pilsners and Belgian-inspired ales, along with a variety of spirits that we use in excitingly fresh cocktails,” according to the brewery's website. “We also prepare fresh, local ingredients into incredible dishes that pair perfectly with our brewing team’s fantastic creations.” The website also added that Daniel Island’s “true sense of community” makes the location a destination where people can come together through “great beer, great food and great music.”
Novant Health Island Park Family Medicine has provided primary care services to Daniel Island-area residents for nearly two decades, offering care for patients of all ages. The practice provides preventive care, annual physicals, sick visits, vaccinations, chronic disease management, women’s health services, and a variety of in-office testing and procedures.

Novant Health High Tide Internal Medicine provides primary care services for adults, including annual physicals, same-day and next-day sick visits, vaccinations, and ongoing management of chronic conditions such as diabetes.
Novant Health Lowcountry OB/GYN provides comprehensive women’s health services, including preventive gynecologic care, prenatal care, contraception counseling, and treatment for both routine and complex conditions. Dr. Maggie Evans, who was named 2026’s Best of Daniel Island OB/GYN, works at the practice.
“Sexual health and hormone management are issues that affect every woman during their lifetime, but many women are not comfortable talking about them,” Evans said. “I want to give every one of my patients a chance to share their concerns and ask their questions so they can get the care they need.”
Bowman is a national engineering firm, providing infrastructure, surveying, and project management services. The Daniel Island office is led by Matt Lowder, who brings more than 32 years of civil land development experience and oversees local site design, surveying, and construction services.
