Once a Cainhoy Tiger, always a Cainhoy Tiger!
Generations of alumni, dating back to the Class of 1956, returned for the sixth annual Cainhoy Alumni Homecoming, Oct. 9-10, for a weekend of old memories, familiar faces, and plenty of school spirit.
Although Cainhoy High School closed in 1996 and became an elementary school, its homecoming traditions are still going strong.
This year's celebration had a little bit of everything: a parade, basketball game, horses in the streets, costumes, vintage cars, singing, dancing, the crowning of the 2026 grand marshal, and, of course, the much-loved Tigers tailgate.
