Anchor Commercial joins global real estate alliance

Anchor Commercial, LLC has been selected as the representative of Corporate Facility Advisors - CORFAC International - in the greater Charleston commercial real estate marketplace.

The Daniel Island commercial real estate firm becomes the 151st office in a worldwide alliance coordinated by CORFAC International, an organization of leading, privately held entrepreneurial commercial real estate firms.

Anchor Commercial is a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm, providing service in the office, industrial, retail and land sectors, as well as both property management and development. Principals of the firm, Robert H. Nuttall, Jr., SIOR, and R. Milton Thomas, III, CCIM, report the firm completed over 110 transactions totaling more than $27 million in 2005.

"We are proud to welcome Anchor Commercial to our expanding global real estate alliance," said Todd Payne, SIOR, president of CORFAC International. "Anchor Commercial brings outstanding talent, expertise and professionalism to CORFAC International and expands our organization in the growing South Carolina marketplace.

"This affiliation is a reflection of CORFAC’s commitment, both nationally and internationally, to consistently attracting the best firms to our growing partnership," said Payne.

According to Nuttall, "The high-quality firms that are already members of the CORFAC alliance are just one of the reasons we decided to become a part of this outstanding organization. Our partnership with CORFAC will allow Anchor Commercial to establish a regional, national and global presence, as well as to remain individual yet connected internationally.

"CORFAC will also provide our firm with valuable tools and relationships to better serve our clients. We truly look forward to this partnership," he said.

The addition of Anchor Commercial, along with the recent inclusion of Greenville-based Bentley Commercial, solidifies CORFAC’s presence in the Carolinas. Piedmont Properties of the Carolinas, Hagan Properties Inc., and the Lewis Group also represent CORFAC in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina, respectively.

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, CORFAC is comprised of professionals proficient in a wide variety of services, including brokerage, investments, property management, development and support expertise. Partner firms of CORFAC are selected based on their professional integrity, industry leadership and high standards of quality, client service and market knowledge and performance.
