City of Charleston Recreation Update

The Charleston Tennis Center will host the Charleston Thanksgiving Junior Classic on Nov. 25–27. Divisions will include junior age groups for singles and doubles. The tournament is sanctioned by the USTA. Players register at www.sctennis.com. Call 766-7401 for info.

CHARLESTON INDOOR ADULT
SOCCER LEAGUE

Registration begins Nov. 14 and ends Dec. 12. The cost is $150 per team for the 8 game season. Games are played on Tues. & Fri. nights at the C of C’s gym. All players must join US Soccer at $20 each. Call Dave Caruso for more info at 769-8243.

TURKEY TROT 5K

Nov. 26 at Hampton Park. Registration is at
8:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. The cost is $5. The race will raise money to buy toys for disadvantaged children. Additional toys and monetary donations accepted. *Toys must be new and not gift-wrapped.
