Last call! Your thoughts on DI Waterfront parking

Residents have been voicing concerns about parking availability at the DI Waterfront after East West Partners announced that their gravel-owned lot used for parking will be reimagined as a 65-room boutique inn with the possibility of a restaurant and additional spaces for the public.

Though the project would eventually eliminate the temporary lot, Charleston City Councilman Boyd Gregg stressed that parking studies show enough spaces exist nearby – residents may simply need to walk a little farther.

Do you think there is adequate parking? Would parking issues impact your plans to visit Waterfront events or businesses? Share your thoughts by taking the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Parking_Wars by Sunday, July 11, at 5 p.m.
