COMMENTS:
• Truman named after University of Missouri mascot.

• Russell; I named him after the boy from the movie “Up.”

• Indigo. She’s a SC girl.

• Beverly. We did a quite exhausted process of having each family member compile a list and have a secret ballot and Beverly won the election (selection.)

• Tucker - I got inspired by the book Tuck Everlasting even though I didn’t like the book.

• Two dogs - Henry and Jack. Because no other names would’ve fit their face/ personalities! :)

• Our wonderful dog is Lucia di Lemmermoor, though she doesn’t much like opera. It seemed a natural name for a female member of our family. Tim Lemmer

• One of the cats’ names is Bebe. My husband worked at Blackbaud and right after Labor Day weekend 2015, when he went to work, the security guard told him this little kitty had been hanging around all weekend. My husband called me and told me to bring a cat carrier down there, so we picked him up and has been with us ever since. We named him Bebe after the B’s in Blackbaud.

• Cat Sophie

• My Llewellin Setter’s name is Byrdie Belle – named after my mother. Byrd was her maiden name and Belle for Byrdie’s birth mother, Georgia Belle. I adopted another dog two years ago, a beagle-hound mix who was already named Joe, but I call him Joesie Joe, Smokin’ Hot Joe, Crazy Joe, and the list goes on with the nicknames! :)

• Hopslam (but we call her Hoppi). Hopslam is my favorite IPA so it made sense to call one of my other most favorite things, my golden retriever, the same name :o).

• My dog’s name is Bogart. “Bogie” is his nickname. He is named after classic film actor Humphrey Bogart. It is a unique name with a lot of character, which suited my dog perfectly. He is a shelter dog with a very unique face and personality.
