Where in the area is Caley Smith?

Have you seen this massive anchor statue hidden on Daniel Island?

 

It is along a nice walking path where there is heavy foot traffic, especially during the lunch rush, however, not many people stop to take notice. Have you?

 

At the base of the statue, there is a plaque with a globe symbol that reads, “M/V Ever Guide Launch Date: April 28, 1983”.  This statue is surrounded by beautiful flowers. Any idea where this may be? 

 

Answer: This container ship anchor is located at the entrance of the walking path near Guggenheim Terrace right past Vespa Pizzeria on Seven Farms Drive.
