Daniel Island home sales hit $29.4 million in September

Nineteen homes sold on Daniel Island in September. The total sales for the month were $29.435 million.
The most expensive home sold was on Dalton Street in the Parkside. It sold for just under $3.395 million.
The least expensive home sold was a condo at Daniel’s Landing, which sold for $433,000.
As of Oct. 21, there were 96 homes listed for sale. Of those, there were 58 active listings, and 38 listings were under contract.
According to Tricia Peterson with Island House Real Estate, prices, inventory, and days on market are all up on Daniel Island, proving patience is a virtue for sellers.
Peterson said the average sales price for single family homes on Daniel Island for September was $2,022,111. For condos on Daniel Island the average sales price was $1,123,600. There were several multi-million dollar condos sold which influenced that average.
“Interest Rates have been going up and down the last few weeks but currently we are seeing 5.75%-6.5% for ARMs and fixed jumbo loans,” Peterson noted.
