July had the least amount of homes sold since January 2019. Only 14 homes closed during the month. The least expensive home sold was a condo on River Landing Drive which sold for $455,000. The most expensive home sold was in Daniel Island Park on Captains Island, which sold for an impressive $5.7 million. Sales for July totaled $29,707,500. As of Aug. 9, a total of 72 homes were for sale on Daniel Island, with 41 of those under contract and 31 active.
According to Renee Reinert Pote with Iron Gate Realty, inventory is starting to slowly rise.
“The prices are also beginning to steady. Still a great time to sell. If your home is updated and move-in-ready, you are in luck! These homes tend to sell very quickly.”
