Real Estate Report June 2020

After a disappointing May, June has seen a resurgence of property sales with a whopping 51 homes sold on Daniel Island in June.  
 
The total sold volume was $51,424,771, which was over three times the volume sold in May, and well above the June volumes since 2017. That significant increase is due in part to 15 properties selling for more than $1 million. 
 
The most expensive home sold was on Ralston Creek Street in Daniel Island Park for $4.2 million. The least expensive home sold was a condo on River Landing Drive for $160,000.
 
As of July 15, there were 176 homes for sale with 95 active and 81 under contract or pending.  
 
Tricia Peterson with Island House Real Estate said she continues to believe that if you price your house correctly, it will move fast on Daniel Island. 
 
“The inventory on Daniel Island is still very low and houses are going under contract quickly if they are priced correctly. The average days on market on Daniel Island is 23 and houses on average have 13 showings prior to going pending,” Peterson noted.
