Real estate stats trend upward compared to this time last year

In February, 18 homes sold on Daniel Island. As of March 8, 51 homes were listed for sale. Of those 51 homes, 39 were active listings and 12 listings were under contract.
 
The total sales for February was $44,064,646.
 
Two homes sold for more than $7 million dollars, and one of those homes, on Nobels Point Street closed at almost $8 million.
 
Tricia Peterson with Island House Real Estate noticed when comparing stats to last year at this time, the Daniel Island real estate market continues to trend upwards.
 
“Average sales price and price per square foot, total dollar volume sold, and the number of homes for sale, are up compared to February of 2023. We have seen a slight uptick in inventory and days on the market, but prices are continuing to accelerate on Daniel Island,” Peterson said.
