In February, 15 homes sold on Daniel Island, with the total sales for the month reaching $29,655,000.
As of March 9, there were 96 homes listed for sale: 58 active listings and 38 under contract.
The most expensive home sold in February at $4.75 million was 469 Lesesne Street in the Parkside neighborhood. The least expensive home sold was a two-bedroom condo at 300 Bucksley Lane, which sold for $425,000.
Renee Reinert with Carolina One said although there may be a low inventory of homes for sale, it doesn’t mean buyers will buy just any home that is available.
“We still see low inventory,” Reinert said. “Buyers are still cautious and taking their time to find the right house and are willing to wait for the right house.”
Reinert also noted that the sales volume of homes this February is actually more than $10 million lower compared to February 2024.
“You have heard about prices softening,” she said, “so I thought it would be interesting to see the volume sold this February as compared to last February. I found that the number of properties (sold) did not vary very much at all, however the price of the homes did.”
