John Bobey wins Pick ‘Em tiebreaker and defeats Jimmy Foti of Foti Law Firm

Daniel Island resident John Bobey and several other Pick’ Em competitors went 11-1 this week, but it was Bobey who rose to the top spot by winning the overall tiebreaker in this week’s Pigskin Pick ‘Em contest.

Bobey also defeated Pick ‘Em VIP sponsor Jimmy Foti of Foti Law Firm, who went 8-4, to win a $50 gift card to Vinea Courtyard Kitchen. “I enjoy playing Pigskin Pick’em with my dad’s help,” said Bobey. “He is good with the high school and pro team matchups.”

Bobey and his wife, Rona, moved to Daniel Island in 1997 and have two adult children, Drew and Alex, who live in the Charleston area. Both he and his wife went to Purdue University. “I like playing against my wife, who always has luck on her side.”
