On Saturday, Jan. 18, CrossFit Discovery hosted the 4th Annual ThROWdown for Special Olympics, SC. At the event, 218 participants relay rowed for two hours and raised $13,000! Sponsors were CrossFit Discovery, Peace Love Hip Hop, Made 2 Move PT, The Daniel Island Community Fund, Kellermann-Smith Real Estate, OL Thompson Construction, Mingledorff & Patterson Law, Coastal Rowing Studio, The New Primal, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Vida-Flo Charleston, Dockery’s, and Qwik Pack & Ship.
Part of the ThROWdown included a team competition. Pictured are members of the first place team from CrossFit North Charleston. Second place went to “No Bull Just Row” and the third place team was Made 2 Move Physical Therapy of Daniel Island.
